Kent Anderson began his association with KCSC/KUCO as a student employee in 1981. After graduating from then-Central State University with a B.A. in Oral Communications, he worked at other radio stations in Oklahoma City and Columbia,
MO, before returning to KCSC as a full-time staff member in 1991. He served as Program Director from 1992-2005, as part-time off-air music programmer from 2006-2013, and returned as full-time Music Director and afternoon drive
announcer in September 2013. Kent is also an award-winning magazine journalist and author of six published novels, including the 2006 winner of the Oklahoma Book Award for Fiction.

Kent lists his favorite composers as Beethoven, Chopin, Dvorak, Haydn, Holst, Mark O'Connor, and John Williams. He has a special passion for the intersection of traditional folk and classical music. Kent has three sons, and lives in Oklahoma City.
