Massenet: Don Quichotte. August 31
Fifty years before Man of La Mancha graced Broadway, Massenet's version premiered at the Paris Opera. It is still staged when there is a world-class bass to sing the title role, and Ferruccio Furlanetto was the star in December, 2016, when Lyric Opera of Chicago performed it last. Clementine Margaine was his Dulcinee.

Bellini: Norma. August 10

Bellini: Norma. August 10
This archival performance from 2017 presents Sandra Radvanovsky at the peak of her powers as the Druid priestess, with Elizabeth Deshong as Adalgisa and Russell Thomas as Pollione. Antonio Silvestri is the leader of the Druids, Oroveso.

Verdi: Atilla. August 3

Verdi: Atilla. August 3
Ildar Abradazov is Atilla who returns the sword that will kill him to the Odabella of Saoia Hernandez in this performance from last winter.

Gluck: Orfeo ed Euridice. June 27

Gluck: Orfeo ed Euridice. June 27
Countertenor Carlo Vistoli and soprano Mariangela Scilia starred in this staging of Orfeo from Last March in Rome. It is a very short production, having sacrificed some of the ballet sequences for tighter drama.
