Southeastern Oklahoma State University's

Musical Arts Series

Formed just a year or two ago, and based in New York City, Frisson is a nine piece string and wind ensemble featuring young classical music performers drawn from several of America’s top music schools including Juilliard, Curtis, the New England Conservatory and Yale.   Offering eclectically mixed programs and showcasing a myriad of rarely-performed masterworks, Frisson expands and contracts into a variety of big and small ensembles.  Debuting in concerts offered across the US during the 2017-18 season and they are rapidly becoming one of the busiest classical music ensembles performing today.  Appearing on Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Musical Arts Series on Wednesday, November 7th, the ensemble offered a varied program of works including pieces by August Walter, Ennio Morricone, Ignacio Cervantes and Bohuslav Martin┼».
