Music of Gaetano Donizetti, Franz Schubert, Emile Paladilhe, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Madeline Dring, Benjamin Britten and Francis Poulenc combine for an eclectic mix of short 19th and 20th century chamber works variously scored for voice, viola, woodwinds, horn and piano and presented in a concert offered by the Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble on Tuesday, March 20th at St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Oklahoma City; this fourth program of the Society’s 15th anniversary season offering unfamiliar works by known composers and pieces by composers new to Brightmusic audiences and featuring tenor Andrew Ranson, flutist Parthena Owens, oboist Lisa Harvey-Reed, bassoonist Rodney Ackmann, hornist Kate Pritchett, violist Mark Neumann, and pianists Amy I-Lin Cheng and Ruirui Ouyang.
